A romantic hideaway in the heart of beautiful Andalusia. This old country mansion and olive mill has been painstakingly restored to its original splendour with sympathetic updating to provide guests with the best of old Spain in the comfort of 21st century living. Hotel El Cortijo La Prensa offers the discerning traveller and holiday maker, comfort, relaxation, luxury and service normally found in 4 star establishments. The hotel has 11 Superior Double rooms and 1 Superior Deluxe Junior Suite most with terrace or balconies, some with dressing rooms. All rooms, suite and public rooms have air conditioning and under-floor heating for those cool winter evenings.
For your pleasure we have a large Romanesque swimming pool, the pool terrace is laid out with sun lounge’s and tables all set in a walled garden filled with roses, lavender, oleander and olive trees, the odd statue overlooked by our Moorish tower. A separate, secluded walled in Jacuzzi, sauna and clothing optional sun bathing area. For the keep fit a small gym and mountain bikes.
The hotel is set in 10 acres of olive grove with rose’s and lavender filled gardens with fountains, water ways and Roman temple set on the banks of two rivers and surrounded by wonderful mountain ranges. El Cortijo La Prensa is adjacent to Sierras Subbetica National Park which offers exciting walks and ideally located for visiting the wonderful cites of Córdoba, Granada, Seville, Malaga and many of the historical towns and villages for which Andalusia is so famous.
